Restorative treatments like crowns, inlays, and onlays are wonderful cosmetic treatments for restoring a beautiful smile. CEREC® (CEramic REConstruction) makes these helpful treatments possible in just one office visit. Digital images of your damaged tooth and an office-based milling machine make these treatments a “while-you-wait” procedure.

What Is CEREC?

CEREC® is a combination of systems and equipment that can produce restoration treatment devices in the office while you wait. It does its work through an acquisition unit that captures 3D images of the damaged tooth and a milling unit that can carve restorative pieces from a ceramic block with precision and accuracy.

When Is CEREC Used?

CEREC® is the perfect solution when you need a crown, inlay, onlay, or veneer to restore chipped or damaged teeth. The system digitally images the damaged tooth and then produces the restoration right in our office. Treatments that once took multiple appointments over weeks of time can now be done in a single appointment!

What Are The Advantages Of CEREC?

The advantages are all about time and money. Rather than taking months to have your smile restored, you can have it restored in one visit to our office. Of course, when you have one appointment instead of several, your pocketbook is much happier. In addition to saving time and money, CEREC® restorations are durable and easily customized to match (or even improve) the look of your natural teeth.
