Porcelain veneers are a popular and practical way to transform a damaged smile. Thin, porcelain shells are custom made and fit to your chipped or damaged teeth that are the most visible. Your smile will look natural, healthy, and bright.

What Are Veneers?

Simply put, veneers are thin, porcelain shells which are placed on the visible, damaged portions of your teeth. The results are that chipped, stained, misshapen, or damaged teeth are made to look brand-new. Your confident, beautiful smile is restored.

How Do Veneers Work?

Dr. Sehnert will begin the process by taking x-rays and making impressions of the affected teeth. These results with then be sent to a lab where your veneers will be customized for the fit and color most appropriate for your needs. While waiting for the veneers to be manufactured, your dentist will remove a thin layer of enamel from your damaged teeth and provide temporary veneers for you to wear until your permanent veneers are ready. Once your custom veneers have arrived, he will bond each one to the appropriate place with a specially-formulated cement.

What Are The Benefits Of Veneers?

Veneers have many benefits. Because the color is custom matched, they are virtually unnoticeable. Your smile will seem completely natural because of the natural look of healthy tooth enamel. Veneers are also resistant to staining and easy to replace if damaged. Head for that next job interview, sales presentation, or date with a renewed sense of confidence and ease!
